This is a print that I just finished this week, it features a very wide angle panoramic view off of Islamorada in the Florida Keys. This is oceanside about mile marker 88 behind one of my favorite restaurants The Lazy Days. The original had some boats in it, but I thought they were kind of distracting so I cloned them out. I also used some textures, overlays and brushes to make it a unique piece. Let me know what you think about it.
Who would have thunk you could see a sunset this glorious in Michigan? The good folks that live in the area probably did, but I had no idea. I was doing some shooting of the Cherry Festival in Traverse City a few years ago and wow.. what a great area. Something for everyone there, excellent vineyards, good restaurants, good fishing… We had a great time. On this day we headed further north to get some tickets to get to Mackinac Island (which there were none available 😦 ). The bridge in the photos is the bridge that goes to the Upper Peninsula. The susnset was amazing, started out with some golden light fading to the reds and oranges you see. On these gloomy winter days, I like to look at my colorful shots to brighten my spirit. Hope you enjoy them.
I shot this photo while visiting Arches National Park a few years ago. The park is amazing, if you like hiking, photography, yoga, whatever… this is a the place to be. Hiking trails for every level of hiker abound and the scenery is breathtaking. While I was there it started snowing really huge flakes for about 15 minutes. This is one of the shots I took while it was snowing. I added some HDR effect to the final print. This print looks amazing on metallic paper in a large format.
On a side note, a guy from google earth was hiking the trails with the 360 degree camera strapped to the top of his head on a helmet recording for the website. I looked for myself on google earth but didn’t see me.. hahaha
This shot was captured in the lower Antelope Canyon in Page Arizona. It is an area known as “The Faces” If you have never been there, put it on your bucket list as it is fantastic!!!
I drive by this field every day on my way to work and on my way home. Taken in early summer as the corn was not very tall. The best sunset I have seen in all the years that I have been driving past it.

This shot was taken on a trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon a few years ago. This was early morning right after sun rose in the distance. No matter how many times I visit the Grand Canyon, it always amazes me and I see new things.
