This is a print that I just finished this week, it features a very wide angle panoramic view off of Islamorada in the Florida Keys. This is oceanside about mile marker 88 behind one of my favorite restaurants The Lazy Days. The original had some boats in it, but I thought they were kind of distracting so I cloned them out. I also used some textures, overlays and brushes to make it a unique piece. Let me know what you think about it.
New print featuring a beautiful young white Egret against a textured background. I photographed this beauty a few years ago in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. I love these birds, they are so graceful and so elegant. Let me know what you think
Antelope Canyon is one of my favorite places to visit and to shoot. I see something new each time I visit. THis is an area known as “The Faces” as it looks like two faces facing each other. It looks great in color, but I decided to do a black and white version of it also. Let me know what you think.

I shot this one at the St Louis Zoo in Missouri a few years ago. I was struck by not only how powerful this guy was, but how calm he was. He just sat there for a bit looking at the other gorilla’s moving around, then he laid back and scratched his head as if in deep thought. I was torn viewing this magnificent beast. On one hand, I fully appreciate the importance of the research and educational benefits provided by zoo’s. By now, most of them have been born in captivity and live a life of luxury. And I love being able to see them and watch them, something that I might never be able to do otherwise. On the other hand, I feel like they should be free in their native habitat, doing the things that gorillas do in the wild. But, if he was free, would he live a long healthy life. Poaching is so rampant that the poachers are wiping out many species to endangered levels. I am not torn on what to do with poachers, shoot them on sight. Sounds rough, but how much respect do people that slaughter endangered rhino’s, cut off their horn and leave them to rot? I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
