This is a print that I just finished this week, it features a very wide angle panoramic view off of Islamorada in the Florida Keys. This is oceanside about mile marker 88 behind one of my favorite restaurants The Lazy Days. The original had some boats in it, but I thought they were kind of distracting so I cloned them out. I also used some textures, overlays and brushes to make it a unique piece. Let me know what you think about it.
New print featuring a beautiful young white Egret against a textured background. I photographed this beauty a few years ago in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. I love these birds, they are so graceful and so elegant. Let me know what you think
For many years I spent the week from Christmas day through the first week of the new year in the Keys. The weather is always great, the fishing is even better. Several years ago, I met the guy that lived on this gorgeous sailboat. For most of his life he lived the life of a land lubber, married to his high school sweetheart for his whole life. They shared the same dream of some day retiring and living on a boat for their golden years. But, the dream was not to be as his wife died of breast cancer about 4 years before this picture was taken. She made him promise to keep their dream, to which he did. He spends his days educating visitors on eco tours in the Everglades National Park, which is how we met him. This particular shot was taken on New Years day after a little rain storm had blown through. The rainbow was awesome as the skies cleared and the sun came out. Looking out at the single digit temperature today, how I wish I was down there again enjoying that beautiful sunshine. Someday when I retire, I will get to enjoy it year round. Happy New Year!!!!
I call this shot The Fisherman. I shot it a few years ago while vacationing in Key Largo, Florida in the Keys. It was early in the evening and I was out waiting for some good sunset shots, not too hard to find in the Keys, when I saw this lone man fishing out on a natural jetty. I snapped a few shots not sure if they were anything I could use. After playing with this one a bit with some textures, brushes and overlays, this is a final result. I am pleased with it, I hope you enjoy it also. Let me know what you think.
