I am posting a couple of shots from Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. I was there a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was like a kid in a candy store, I didn’t know which way to look first. The park is laid out pretty nicely, very easily accessible from main roads that wind through it. Although, some of the formations are a bit of a hike, nothing there requires any advanced hiking skills. The formations are huge and very abundant. The first main formation is an area called Broadway, it is a valley with very tall formations on about 3 sides. While I was there, a group of yogi (plural of yoga, not the bear.. hahaa) doing their thing. It was very cool to watch, they were even getting people from the crowd to join in and give it a shot. My girlfriend at first politely refused, but 10 minutes later she was balanced up in the air on one of the yogi’s extended legs. Meeting people from all over the world, seeing a google earth photographer with the 360 degree camera mounted on top of his helmet and a brief snow shower made the day go by way too quick. We were on our way to Los Angeles, so we only had half a day. Carve out a whole day at least to really enjoy all the park has to offer. The park has programs throughout the seasons to get visitors involved. I would definitely recommend this park to everyone.
